Stop holding unto me
Let your grasp release and walk away
Don’t let you heart attach it’s self to me
Please just forget and move on
I beg of you just walk away from me
Don’t ever look back this I plead
I can’t have you for reasons I know that shall come
Some night or day the pain will surface
And I will end up hurting you
I can’t let these emotions run wild

Let me fall for this my journey
And I must take it alone
I can’t have you fall into this emptiness
My world convulses and collapses in to it’s self
This black hole of a life

Feet always holding firm
Never giving an inch
Held fast and safe
Never jumping afraid to fall
Holding close to reality
Never dreaming to aspire to anything grander
Love has no hold of me
Dreams torn and tattered
I can’t trip to fly
Scarred to look up
Never willing to jump
Still holding on
Never aspiring to fall
Always feet down and set
I have never let myself want to fall
